Time for...I Don't Make This Up!!!

So today I had several errands to run. First I had to go and get my daily cup of coffee and that led me to Dunkin Donuts. I get there and I am behind 4 people. The lady right in front of me, forgot to decide what she wanted (while we were waiting and decided to make up her mind right at the counter) so she is sitting there and she finally orders. She wanted a croissant with something on it and a coffee with creamer and "no sugar" then she gets her coffee and she holds up the line again and asks for a few packets of "sugar", if I could have slapped her I would have, why are people so dumb??? The lady could have put the sugar in for her, trust me she would not have put that much.

Then I had to go to the post office and as usual there is this long line (Does every post office only have one person working the counter?). I made sure that I had packed the items I wanted to send in the priority mail box (you can stuff it as full as you want in the priority boxes and it costs the same no matter what). I get in line and the person at the counter looks like she is trying to send a computer through the mail (in the computer bag, LOL). I said to myself here we go again. I am thinking she tried this before because she told the lady behind the counter that she needed a box. The lady behind the counter did not have a regular box behind the counter, that would fit the computer bag so she had to get this: sign off her terminal and got the back. I was like this is not happening. Then the lady behind the counter came back and told the lady how much it would cost for the box and shipping stuff (tape, etc.) she was like, that is ok I will go to Fed Ex, I started to grab her and say no you will not, after you have been holding up the line for 15 minutes now. So she leaves ( I'm giving her a blank stare, behind my shades) and then the next character approaches the counter. This guy was sending a small bag that looked like he had just went to burger king and he was sending the leftovers in the same bag to somebody. The lady at the counter told him he needed an envelope, somehow he got a priority mail envelope (but he had not filled out the mailing label) she asked him to fill it out to the side and he could come back up when he was done. Fast forward to when he finishes filling out the mailing label and this is when I wanted to pull out the flashlight and point it in is eyes to see if he was on drugs or something. He told the lady that he wanted to use his (pre- moistened stamps - this means that all you have to do is pull and stick) stamps to pay for the postage, so they worked that out and then he asked the lady behind the counter for some water. I was like, OMG, is he thirsty, she was even blowed. He told her he wanted the water so he did not have to lick the stamps that he was going to use to pay for the (flat rate) envelope. She said the stamps have adhesive behind them all you have to do is peel and stick them. I just held my head down in shame and dismay. Mind you we all hear him because we are all waiting so patiently for our turn. I don't even think he got it because he was looking like he had birds flying over his head. LOL!!! I mean sometimes I wonder if you need a high school diploma to go to the post office. How long have they been making postage stamps that don't need water for application???

First Up The Monique Show on BET

O.K., I love Monique but why??? Her show did get me watching/purchasing the entire 4 seasons of Lincoln Heights on Itunes (which I loved) but why is she so "over the top"? I mean first of all, people already think that my people are loud, so why does she come out on the show screaming all that nonsense! Plus the last show I saw with the Queens of Comedy (Laura, Sommore and Adele) made me think that Sommore has beef with Monique, even though they acted like they were all the best of friends. No matter what, when someone is doing better then someone else and you all started at the same place, there has to be a little envy and I think Sommore is that lady. First she brings out this pic of Moniques' current husband, as the only picture she could find that reminded her of the good ole days on the road with the Queens of Comedy. My question is: Why is it important for Sommore to let Monique know that she may or may not have had her man??? (Jealousy is a terrible thing). Then Laura decided to cook some food on top of an iron in some tin foil (aluminum foil, people's) knowing that Monique is on a diet, she can't eat that stuff...LOL!!! I think she may have been implying that Monique is hungry and that she was talking all that mess before about skinny women and she is turning into that girl before our eyes. Good look on the new you Monique by the way. Monique looks great, and I need the number to her stylist, because her hair, shoes and dresses are the business. The show is great, but all the extra stuff just makes you want to fast forward.

I have to say, I have been neglecting this blog! I think I am going to start posting comments about the daily news I hear and add random pics here and there. After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page. I've never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I've reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and dis concern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK's last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.

Already I can hear some of you saying " why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something that's broken". Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, that's false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
I'm not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would've handled things more carefully. I'm not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesn't exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now

This is not a publicity stunt, I don't have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don't have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!

I know many will see my point and many will not be able to look into what's real because they only want to see Alicia Keys the celebrity, not the human. This is not for the "people", this is for you. Like I said I was left no choice but to reach out to you this way. By now, I'm sure you want to find a balance in this as well.

I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don't understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I don't consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong.

If its so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. If you two being together forever is the case, its more of a reason for us to get along, because I'm not going anywhere. Theres a child to be raised.

I drink a lot of Zephyrhills bottled water, and I have heard that some of this water does not even come from Zephyrhills. Why I continue to drink it, I have no idea.

New Hair Do:Michelle & Ciara

Women, and ecspecially black women, have the option of adding extensions and wearing wigs to protect their hair or to change thier overall look. I have to say that Michelle and Ciara know this all too well. I have been wearing weaves and wigs for a long time and I know from just looking at these pics that Michelle has a weave (sew in) and Ciara has on a wig. Ok, I have short hair (like Rihanna) but why are women everywhere shaving their heads? Is it too hot outside, did they get a bad cut, are they crazy....??? Cavs sign ownership deal with China group that could make Lebron James the first bball billionaire....

With an eye on spreading the game on a global scale, the NBA has been quietly pushing for an international group to become involved in ownership on a minority level. And with a huge fan base already in China—mainly because of Houston All-Star Yao Ming(notes)—the league has entered into several ventures with the nation to develop players and build arenas to NBA specifications.

Huang and others in the group attended Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference finals in Cleveland. On Friday, they sat courtside and watched James hit a game-winning 3-pointer in the final second to give the Cavaliers a 96-95 win and even the best-of-seven series which resumed Sunday night.

If approved, the deal would provide marketing opportunities for the Cavaliers and James, who is eligible to become a free agent in the summer of 2010. The 24-year-old MVP, who is already among the league’s most popular players in Asia, has stated he wants to become the first billionaire athlete. His brand overseas could be enhanced by playing for a team with Chinese business partners.

There has been ongoing speculation that James will leave Cleveland to play in a larger market like New York or Los Angeles because of the vast business opportunities. But James—and his corporate sponsors like Nike—have broader goals and may be able to attain them by tapping into China’s colossal consumer marketplace without him ever leaving Cleveland.

James has never given any indication he wants to leave the Cavaliers, who drafted the Akron, Ohio, native with the No. 1 overall pick in 2003. He won a gold medal with the U.S. team last summer at the Beijing Games and has made four trips to China, including one with the Cavs during the preseason two years ago.

“It’s a big market,” James said before Game 3. “They love the game of basketball. I’ve been over there the last four or five summers. It should be good. It should be fun.”
